Dennis de Heus – Chairwoman

AlohaHello! I am Dennis de Heus and it is my grandest honour to be Vakgericht’s chairman this year. Being 24 years old, I have reached the 7th year of my studies mechanical engineering of which the ending is pretty much not in sight. Coming from Barneveld, yes the place with all the chicken, I spent many years on the ODIK fields with school, but I never played any korfball there. 2 Years ago I finally took up the challenge at Vakgericht and I never regretted that moment. Next to korfball I occasionally train a bit on triathlon, at DSTV Aloha, and it’s still a bit of a mystery on how but I completed an IronMan the other day. Anways, a board year, I am really looking forward to make something fun and interesting out of it and with this incredible team I am confident we’ll make it happen

Femke Reijs – Secretary

Hey hey, I’m Femke Reijs and I’m the secretary of Vakgericht this year. Because my name will often end up in your mailbox, I will introduce myself. I’m 20 years old and studying technical medicine. I come from Schaijk, a small village in Brabant, where I have played women’s korfball all my life. As a student, I switched to mixed korfball, which took some getting used to. But since last year I have been playing fanatically in VG1 and I have also organized the family korfball day. I hope to learn a lot but also have fun next year. And see you soon at a training, drink, activity, match or tournament.

Lisa Karst – Treasurer

Hey, my name is Lisa and I will be the treasurer at Vakgericht this year. I am 20 years old and I’m now in my third year of Technical Medicine. I come from the beautiful Opende, where I started playing korfball at OKO Bies when I was four, there I also play matches on Saturdays, in a very nice team. Two years ago I became a member of Vakgericht, where I play in the midweek team. After doing a committee, I thought it would be fun to become a board member at Vakgericht. I’m really looking forward to it and hope to make it a fun and educational year with my fellow board members <3

André Andringa – Match Secretary
Hi everyone, I’m André Andringa and I’m the Match secretary of Vakgericht this year. I am 21 years old and come from the beautiful city of Utrecht. I started playing korfball at Synergo through school korfball around 9 years old. After playing there for a while, I temporarily made the switch to football, but that turned out not to be my cup of tea and that’s why I ended up at the fantastic Vakgericht to continue playing korfball. And although I have forgotten a lot, I really enjoy playing korfball again. I usually play in the midweek, and here and there I play a game at VG1. In addition to korfball, I also sometimes run a round and I have started my Master’s in Computer Science. I’m looking forward to it and I’m sure it’s going to be a great year with my fellow board members.
Marit Haegens – Internal Affairs

HI everyone! My name is Marit Haegens and this year I have the honour to be able to fulfil the best position of all: I am your new Commissioner of Internal Affairs, or Commissioner of Sociability, at Vakgericht! I am 18 years young and am currently in my second year of studying Industrial Product Design. Although I was born in beautiful Leiden, I have spent most of my life in Amersfoort. That’s where I discovered my love for korfball, and I played at MIA for no less than 7 years. I’ve been living in Enschede for a year now, where I was actually planning to try out a new sport… but eventually ended up back at my trusted korfball. And I really don’t regret it for a moment, because what a fantastic, cozy association this is! I’m really looking forward to making it another fun year together with my four lovely board mates!
