Het was een mooie zaterdag met een heerlijk zonnetje en voor ons een wedstrijd op ons eigen veld. Tijdens het inschieten oefende we alvast op de zon in onze bakkes. Helaas hadden we daar pas wat aan in de tweede helft, want we kregen eerst nog even wat regen over ons heen... Het spel was op een paar slordigheden na eigenlijk best netjes. De tegenstanders verdedigde flink achter, dus de vang pakken was vaak wat moeilijk. Maar goed, als je raak schiet, heb je gelukkig geen vang nodig. We maakten onze kansen prima af, maar ook de tegenstander kon er wat van. Het ging vrijwel de hele wedstrijd gelijk op, met een maximaal verschil van drie doelpuntjes in ons voordeel. Het bleef spannend tot in de laatste minuten, vooral nadat de Corvers het verschil wisten terug te brengen tot slechts één doelpunt. Uiteindelijk verloste de scheids ons en klonk het fluitsignaal op eindstand 18-17! Puntjes op zak dus!

On a beautifully sunny saturday Vakgericht 1 had a match on our own field. During warmup we practised on shooting with the sun fully in our faces. Unfortunately we weren't able to use this skill until the second half, since we had to deal with some rain first... The game went quite alright, apart from a couple sloppy mistakes. Our opponents defended in such a way that it was hard to take catching position. Luckily you don't need a catcher when you score. We finished our attacks just fine, but the Corvers were on a roll too. With one, two or three points difference the whole time, the match was very exciting. It stayed this tense even up to the last minutes, especially since the Corvers brought back the difference to one goal with only a few minutes on the clock. Finally, the referee freed us and the match ended at 18-17! Point are in the pocket!
